The new Project in Albutnan Medical Center in Tubrok was the first SRS (Siemens Remote Service) Project in Libya, where Siemens Engineers have worked to connect CT, MRI and Angio units to the maintenance center in Germany through 2 way satellite communication so the medical systems can be monitored minute by minute, with 50% chance of fixing problems once they show up on the screen, sometimes without the costumer even noticing.
Tubrok project was one successful step taken forward and to be repeated very soon in other hospitals.
The aim is to connect all CT and MRI in the country to the SRS center in Germany absolutely free of charge as SIEMENS contribution to improving the health sector and the quality of health services in Libya.
